pet portrait photo tips

I don't know who needs to hear this, but...

You totally don't have to have the 'perfect photo' decided on already!

In fact, I prefer you to send a few photos so I can select one that i can do really well for you. Sometimes an awesome photo doesn't make an awesome reference for me to use for your portrait.

Most people have a couple of great photos that i can work from, so don’t worry too much about it, ok?

If you want some direction, here's what i like to see in a reference photo:

• clear and well-lit

• pet shown head-on

• pet has eyes open and looking at the viewer

• full head showing (no cropped out ears, etc)

• shows your pet's personality!

all that said, just show me what you have and i can direct you from there.

i can't wait to work with you!
