.............................................................................................................
I'm all packed and as ready as I'm ever gonna be! Heading to Providence to stay overnight with a friend and then off to Minneapolis tomorrow morning.
I decided not to wear heels. I won't be the girl with the best shoes or the Anthropologie clothes, but I will be comfortable and hopefully cute enough! I might be the girl with the shortest and blondest hair, though.
I will be wearing one or two of these:
New scarves I've been making with my signature wonky stitching. Love these---great texture.
So psyched to meet up with all my designery/bloggy/fabric peeps. Can it really be two years since my first Quilt Market ? And a year and half since my last? Egads!
I'm excited to :
-get to know the people at my new fabric company, Andover!
-go to the blogger meetup Thursday night.
-eat cake at the Cake Party on Saturday. (CAKE PARTY!)
-meet my awesome Wiley peeps.
-share this all with Beth, who flies in on Thursday.
and a whole bunch of other stuff!
While I'm away, some of you will be receiving your copy of Small Stash Sewing! (so I hear)
I can't wait to see what you make from it. Can. Not. Wait.
I'll be back soon!
Thanks for all the book-love. You know it means a lot to me, right?
xo,
melissa
